Affogato Recipe (Italian Coffee and Ice cream)
Affogato has got to be one of the easiest desserts to prepare. Also known as espresso with ice cream -- a serving of affogato is perfect for the summer heat!

Ice cream scooper
Serving glasses
- 2 to 3 scoops ice cream
- shot espresso, hot
- cocoa powder (optional for serving)
- slices of almonds (optional for serving)
Place 2 to 3 scoops of ice cream in a glass.
Pour the espresso directly into the ice cream.
Dust the affogato with cocoa powder.
Add some chopped almonds on top.
Enjoy your affogato!

Variation #1: While vanilla is the most common that I have seen for affogato, chocolate ice cream flavor is also sometimes served in some places.
